Jesse Malmed’s latest physical offering to a world (still) mad.
Seven dashes of film poems, 4th dimension puzzlers, bi-fidelity psych-textures and head-rearrangin’ blissjammers:
Que Sera: Serra
Drift Score / Magic Guise (In Free Acts)
Braille Translation of Dada Lama (for Hugo Ball) for bpNichol
Chiller and B-Flat Blazing the Valley’s Hottest Hits/Jams
A Barely Recognizable Excuse
(Plus: a secret video starring international celebrities, a seal in a box, a George Kuchar impression and a [real life] pizza monster.)
Jesse Malmed’s work in video, film, text, installation and performance has been screened internationally in galleries, microcinemas, DIY spaces, bars, barns and universities. Originally from Santa Fe, he earned a BA in Film & Electronic Arts from Bard College.
