A collection of the gorgeous artwork Adam Baz has produced since coming to Portland, OR (July 2006 – March 2009 AD). Part of the joy of this book is watching the work grow and change over the last three years. Hyper-detailed, Adam’s works are at once transcendent in form and content and pronouncedly intimate in their scale and magnetism.
Drawings, paintings, and quotations are presented in approximate chronological order, with a conclusional essay by Dr. Jesse Malmed. This tight little book is pristinely printed and designed, 32 pages. 5″ x 7″, hand-numbered and signed by the artist.
Adam’s work has been shown in such contexts as the Together Gallery, Department of Safety, the Portland Mercury, and a variety of zines (Deep Leap, Portland Fun Book, Burnside Review).
