as many of you know, at the end of last year i made data cd full of my "favorite" tracks fom 2004. favorite in quotes because representative would probably be a better word; i kept repeat artists to three at the very max, and threw on some tracks that were't exactly my absolute favorite, but still felt really representitive of the year in general. i thought the somewhat archival nature of the endeavor justified that, but now i'm not so sure it was the best way to operate.

sooooo... because i'm bored, i'm going to listen through the cd and see how i feel about each song. yes it's only been a year, but that's like five years in pop-time. thoughts on the songs in batches of about ten will follow.
