my latest project:

knit from cuff to toe with self-striping sock yarn. i finished them during the final scene of the 1975 version of “the stepford wives,” which was a very, very weird movie to knit through.

up next:

note the pre-1991 country borders, i.e. the USSR. the pattern i bought online for $4 (not at all adjusted for inflation) from a woman in ontario suggests updating the borders to reflect geo-political changes, if desired. never before have my personal desires so greatly affected eurasia, so you can imagine i am feeling pretty drunk on power right now.
