Initial Observations about Cambridge

- Boston is a maze, Cambridge is a maze, MIT is a maze. All may be amazing in different ways, but they are all mazes.
- Drivers honk a lot, but not always in aggressive ways.
- Drinks are expensive. Tall boys are $3. PBR on draft is often $3.50. Bars are often Irish-themed and, sadly, nothing like Portland.
- No one smokes.
- People initially seem unfriendly, but this turns out to be a sort of hilarious gruffness — ultimately, they are just as nice and friendly as their west coast counterparts.
- Around 5pm, everyone suddenly changes into workout gear and starts running.
- Dunkin Donuts is/are everywhere.
