Mt. Redoubt Eruption

The eruptive brutality of Mt. Redoubt in the Chigmit Mountains of Alaska continues. Since March 15th there have been over 20 eruptions/explosions, the largest being on April 4th. Since then, the volcano has basically remained in a constant state of mild eruption and dome building (lava!!) at its summit. When will it stop? Nobody knows. It could go off again anytime.

For those interested in mountains, you may find this link of interest. It has some pretty wild pictures, especially the volcanic lighting…volcanic lighting! think about that for a second. Way deep in the light cone.

    Destroyer! Holy Ash!

Those pictures made me remember an extremely awesome dream I had last night in which there were 9 or ten F3 tornadoes and like 3 F5 tornadoes outside of my little hostel; everyone was packing up deep, shoes, snacks, for the basement.
